If I won this competition it would make a huge contribution towards my ambition of international selection and high level performances in the sprint hurdles.

Winning this would ensure I can afford key things such as training kit, expenses to travel, medical/therapy costs and nutritional supplements and guidance.

I started athletics about 4 years ago, competing in different events to try and find the one which suited me. After 2 years I found hurdles to be the event which suited me the best. I started to train hard seriously towards the end of 2009 and in a successful 2010 I achieved national titles (listed above) - ending the season ranked Number 1 in the UK for 60m and 100m hurdles.

After achieving these titles I stepped up my training level intensity, so I would be able to achieve bigger and better things in the future.

My passion for athletics is huge and like every athlete's dream I would definitely like to become a professional one day, providing I stay injury free and put in 110% effort into training both now and into the future.

I have had massive amount of support from family, friends and training partners but the main person I would like to thank is my coach who has always been there, put in effort and helped me achieve what I have over the past few years, if I didn't have the support I have had I wouldn't be as successful as I am today.

Thanks for all your time and for voting for me...!
