From starting running at the age of 10 due-to the inspiration of my dads achievements of a youth I have always aspired and aimed for the very peak of excellence in my sport.
I have many aims in my life of running of which are of the highest order. My ultimate aim is to one day bring back the gold medal for Great Britain in an Olympics.
For the near future I also hold many aspirations in which I believe fully that I can reach; the aim being to reach the 2016 Rio De Janerio,Brazil Olympics and carry on in strength to the 2017 World Championships which are to be held in front of a home crowd in London, which would truly be a moment to remember and re-tell numerous times! In 2018 I also wish to compete for England in the Commonwealth Games which will be held in Melbourne, Australia.
I always believe in aiming high, no matter the circumstance I will always try my up most to achieve the best available even to extent of a board game.
Last year I did exactly this. Many people doubted my ability to achieve what I had set out for my track season evolving the 1500m and the 3000m.I did what I have done for the last 5 years of competing, which has been to never give up ,dig deep and achieve your greatest dreams.
I achieved TWO UK ALL TIME RECORDS ,one in the 1500m and another in the 3000m.In times of 4.00.13 and 8.46.24 both at Watford ,which was a very long journey from Manchester but on well worth. In both I gained faster times than many notable icons at my age. One of the most noticeable being MO FARAH the current World Championship gold and silver medallist!
For many years I have also been County champion of Greater Manchester for various events and in the track season of 2011 I was the Northern Champion over the 3000m in a time of 9.02.65 with a clear lead of 39 seconds and I also was the ENGLISH CHAMPION over the 3000m which I won quite comfortable in a time of 8.55 with a lead of 5 seconds.
Before a very successful track season and cross country where I represented England in the SIAB in Ireland in which I medalled won the London Mini Marathon(BRITISH ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS) a year young in the age category. This was a very memorable run as I ran for the line just in front of Buckingham Palace.
In a couple of months time I was be travelling to the Olympic stadium to compete for the NORTH WEST in the UK school games 3000m.Where I will be taking on the year above me but I fully believe I can do well and get a great result as I continue my quest to the very peak of excellence.
To concur my dream of reaching the very peak of excellence in my sport and one day bringing that gold medal back for Great Britain in an Olympics I believe I need all the backing available to me as the sport is a very costly one as frequent journeys up and down the country and occasionally to other countries. Also the sport requires allot of specialised equipment and clothing which is also a costly acquaintance.
FOR GOODNESS MILKSHAKES would come in as a very good acquisition to my progress in the sport as recovery and growth is a large factor in my career. This would hopefully help me achieve my full potential.
To win this competition would be amazing for the progress and future of my career of which so I would be deeply appreciate, grateful and honoured to be a part of THE BRING ON TOMORROW FOUNDATION.
Thank you to everyone who voted, muchly appreciated,
